In 1924 Rudolf Steiner gave a series of lectures upon which Biodynamic Agriculture is based. He recognized that the vitality of food was diminishing and suggested practical steps that could be taken in order to grow food that is healthy and nourishing while increasing soil fertility.

Although we are not certified biodynamic, we run the farm based on Steiner’s principles. We also run courses and events here. We believe that the relationship between people and land can be mutually beneficial, where each is fed and cared for by the other.

We are part of the Devon Biodynamic Group, which publishes a quarterly newsletter, and we make all of the biodynamic preparations which we distribute to members. If you want to join, please get in touch using the Contact page.
