There’s been a chill in the air the last few nights and the stars have been crystal against the sky. We have a hillock of chard, and courgettes the size of lamp posts. The runner beans are long, slender and plentiful and if I hear of anyone cooking them for more than two minutes there’ll be trouble!
Many willing helpers have been pounding tyres and digging shillet when not eating the vegetables, and over the next three weeks we’ll be making a big push to get cobbing.
But aside from all of that we invite you to join us on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th of August for biodynamic stirrings. Come and join us for dinner from the garden at 6:00 pm on Friday, followed by the cowhorn manure (not to eat) at 7:30. Feel free to sleep over and rise with the sun to stir the cowhorn silica at 6:30am followed by breakfast at 8:00.
Please let us know if you’re coming so we know how many to cater for.
